Well Hello! I suppose you wanted to learn more about
why exactly I started this business.
First a little about me, then I will explain why.
My name is Renee. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Travis (yes, that is him and I to your left). We have been together now for almost 8 years, and just celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on August 22. We both work full time jobs, and spend time with our dog Muttly. We have made it through a lot, and know there are still more bumps to come.
Why I decided to start this small business
You see Travis and I have always dreamed of having children. We do not know exactly how many but we know we want at least one. Back in 2010, I was told I suffer from Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and it would be a long hard road for us to have children of our own. We decided to take a step back from "trying" to get pregnant at that point and wait and see what happens. That was 3 years ago now, and nothing has happened. Recently I began seeing a new OBGYN. She understands our dreams, and wants to do everything in her power for us to fulfill them. Unfortunately fertility drugs are expensive, and insurances do not cover anything related to infertility. So I had to come up with a way to raise the money but not just ask for it.
I then decided to take something I am good at (crafting) and use it to make money to support our dream. Lately I have been working with a friend of mine who has a little girl to make bows and headbands. I make several crafts on my own as well such as bottlecap necklaces, magnets, coasters, and just so much I can not even list right now,
So with all that I came up with my idea: Renee's Dream Boutique. I make custom designed products for children and adults alike. They make wonderful gifts, or just something for yourself to splurge on. The best part about these are they are handmade with love.
So, now you know. Please look around the site, explore the products, and do not hesitate to ask about custom order (I promise they will not cost you an arm and a leg). I have also added a button to the bottom of this page for those we do not want purchase an item but do want to support our cause.
